I've pretty much been playing since I was a teenager. When I first got started I remember using the Atari 2600. For those of you who are too young to know what that is, this is what the console looked like:<br />

<a href="http://www.quickfreetrials.com/"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8tvSLeT49hdi-JiirqBvm6GkFryQD7H_7pobzllrXSHCrFnxltnzPQfMhPYlq54kTCf6Pb4nmTcZbGnnq65O1TyC4H7dymrpqleZ7BtMzrd_tjMl9HFvyfdAVoePw-BRFJ0QUtjI6_xo/s1600/atari2600.jpg" /></a></div>
<div>
I have to admit it still looks pretty cool to me. The joystick really sucked, however. I remember after playing for a few hours my hand would start hurting.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In any case, these days if you want to play video games, you have far more options and the games today would have blown me away if I saw them when I was a kid. We've come such a long way in video games over just a few short decades that it makes me wonder what the games 20-30 years from now will be like. Hopefully I'll still be a gamer at that time.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

Games are somewhat reasonably priced, but new releases tend to be a bit too much. I was thinking of joining either Gamefly or Netflix so I can rent games. I recently found out that <a href="http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gamehunters/post/2012/01/netflix-drops-plan-to-rent-video-games/1#.UWOSXZOG18E">Netflix scrapped its plans to offer video games</a>, so it looks like Gamefly is going to be my choice. There is a Gamefly free trial (which you can get <a href="http://quickfreetrials.com/gamefly.php">here</a>) but the bad news is that it's only 10 days long, which is a bit weak in my opinion. I'd be lucky if I can rent out games twice during that period. My main concern is the time it takes to get new games. I am really an impatient person so if I have to wait a long time for games, then the service wouldn't work so well for me.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
By the way, an awesome place to get some news about gaming is Youtube. There are many channels that offer very good coverage of upcoming games, etc. I especially like Machima's channel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After I try out <a href="http://quickfreetrials.com/gamefly.php">Gamefly</a>, I'll post an update of what I thought. Most likely, I will end up signing up since there don't seem to be a whole lot of other options. I like that Gamefly has a big selection. I just hope the new releases aren't checked out all the time. I guess we will see...</div>

Things have been chaotic so I was unable to until recently. It is my goal to share my web shopping experiences with web visitors and also hopefully make some friends with like-minded individuals.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00428103279962408284noreply@blogger.com0
